RSVP Gifts and More is an upbeat and locally loved gift shop known for thoughtful gifts, friendly service, and a welcoming shopping experience. We are looking for team-oriented individuals who are self-motivated, adaptable, and excited to contribute to a positive retail environment. As a Sales Associate, you will be part of our growing company and play an important role in creating a friendly, helpful, and enjoyable shopping experiences for our customers.

Responsibilities & Tasks:

• Customer Service: Assist customers by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and providing a friendly shopping experience.
• Merchandising & Inventory: Maintain product displays and assist with inventory tasks, including receiving, stocking, organizing, and replenishing merchandise.
• Collaborate & Contribute: Work closely with sales associates and leadership to support daily store operations while managing time effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Store Operations: Work closely with established sales associates and leadership to support daily store operations while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming retail space.
• Order Fulfillment: Assist with processing, preparing, and fulfilling shipping and pickup orders.
• Time Management: Manage time effectively while completing assigned tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Self-Motivated & Adaptable: Demonstrates a capacity for multitasking and flexibility, as well as an ability to operate efficiently under minimal supervision.
• Tech-Savvy & Detail-Oriented: Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, sales-related software, including POS systems and inventory management software.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, including the use of persuasive language to encourage sales.
• Team-Oriented: Willingness to collaborate with coworkers and offer support when needed.
• Customer Service Skills: Experience in retail or customer service is a plus, but but a friendly attitude and strong desire to help customers is essential.
• Reliability: Demonstrates regular, reliable, and punctuality.
• Organizational Skills: Maintains strong attention to detail and stays organized while completing tasks accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must be 20 years of age or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be motivated to learn, take direction, and complete assigned tasks.
• Must have access to reliable internet to receive important job information and updates.
• Must have daytime, evening, and weekend availability.
